Terms of Service
ATProtoFans operates under the Graze Social Terms and Conditions of Service.
By using ATProtoFans, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Privacy Policy
ATProtoFans follows the Graze Social Privacy Policy.
This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Acceptable Use Policy
The following acceptable use policy is a rider to the Graze Social Terms and Conditions of Service. In the event of any conflict or ambiguity, the Graze Social Terms and Conditions supersede this policy.
Allowed Uses
The supporter/beneficiary workflow is intended to support legitimate use cases, including:
- Websites, APIs, backends, and cron jobs
- Machine learning implementations
- Platforms looking to integrate with our system for the purpose of facilitating support between identities
- Validation and verification of support for the purpose of enabling features
Prohibited Beneficiaries and Activities
The following are explicitly not allowed:
- Minors: Any person who qualifies as a minor under United States law. This platform operates under US jurisdiction.
- Illegal activity: Content or activity that promotes illegal behavior as defined under US law.
- Malicious impersonation: Bots or identities attempting to impersonate others for the purpose of misleading people—this includes scams, phishing, and other fraudulent activity. (Note: Satire and parody accounts are permitted provided they clearly indicate they are not the official identity.)
- Spam and phishing: Any spam activity or attempts to phish users.
- Deceptive abuse: Misleading users or directing them to abusive services, including fraudulent link schemes.
- Hate, harassment, and mistreatment: Supporting or promoting hate, harassment, and mistreatment of others.
PG-13 Content Standards
Profile content (display name, description, avatar, banner) must be appropriate for general audiences. The following are not permitted:
- Nudity or sexual content: Overt nudity or explicitly sexual material, whether animated or photographic.
- Content involving minors: Any depiction of minors in an inappropriate context, or impersonation of minors.
- Graphic violence: Explicit gore, violence, or depictions of harm.
- Explicit drug use: Imagery that explicitly depicts drug use. Vague or abstract references (e.g., a cannabis leaf alone) may be acceptable; explicit depictions (e.g., someone actively using) are not.
- Excessive strong language: Incidental profanity is acceptable, but language used primarily for shock value or extended vulgarity is not.
3-Strikes Rule
ATProtoFans implements a 3-strikes rule for policy violations:
- Strike 1: Warning issued with a 24-hour window to remedy the issue. Failure to comply within that window automatically escalates to Strike 2.
- Strike 2: We take action on the specific offending content (e.g., banning that CID).
- Strike 3: We apply the blur content flag to the entire account. This affects visibility across profile pages, typeahead/search, supporter lists, and support pages. This removes the identity from discovery features and capabilities.
After the 3rd strike, a full identity ban is imposed. The identity is prohibited from using the platform in the form of a block and their profile content will be removed from the index, preventing it from being discovered and used in service functionality.
Appeal and Remediation
A strike can be appealed via email to support@atprotofans.com. Please include the DID and "strike appeal" as the subject.
When user action results in a fix for the strike, the user strike level is reset and the identity is considered in good standing. We appreciate timely response and action.
Moderation and Administrative Actions
We reserve the right to take moderation and administrative action for the purpose of ensuring service stability and quality at any time, in any form necessary, and without warning. We will do our best to ensure transparent communication.
Refund Policy
All sales are final and no refunds are issued. No exceptions.
